Dublin Airport has plastic free alternatives bottles

A small alternative to the “Plane water” bottle

A few years ago, Dublin Airport was introducing the “Plane Water” bottle, a €1 honesty box a self-service concept.

Now, they announced that they are going to test out the plastic-free alternatives to plastic bottles.

Cartons of water will be added to the shelves which are located after security screening in both terminals, and customers will also be able to continue buying the original 100% recyclable and reusable bottles.

With the next step being to introduce cans of water for €1 and then reusable water bottles.

 

 

Airport Hopper Launch a 30 minutes Express Service

Great news folks!

Due to customer demand, we are excited to announce that we will be launching a new shuttle service between Dublin Airport and Maynooth.

From Monday 27th of May onwards, our bus will run every 30 minutes from 04:00 am to 12:30 pm (Monday to Friday). Thereafter, it will resume an hourly service.

More good news, you can already book your tickets in advance on our website and enjoy a 20% discount.

Perfect news if you are in the middle of booking hat perfect holiday!!

And don’t forget, on Monday, June 27th we will be at the Airport (Dublin Airport Car Park – Zone 16) from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm . JET2 is now selling Nando’s

This is maybe the first good meal on board a flight

Every time we take the plane, we know that the meals offered are not the best we evereat. But of course, when you are hungry, you will eat it no matter what it looks like, am I right?

However, life just got better as it seems that Jet2 now offering Nando’s on board, and it looks great.

Two dishes are available:

The first is called a Nando’s Box, which includes pitta bread chips, hummus and Peri-Peri drizzle.

The second is called half-popped corn, which is described as “a mild and delicious snacking option where fluffy popcorn meets crunchy corn”.

Only issue is that Jet2 doesn’t fly from Dublin atthe moment. But it does from Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London, Manchester and Newcastle.
