Attention holiday goers’ and all who have that so-called travel-bug.

Did you hear that Dublin Airport has announced that Icelandair will operate a new direct DublinReykjavik service six times a week, starting this June!

Not only are we delighted to hear about the new service, we too believe it is excellent news for the tourism industry as a whole, allowing people to take advantage of onward connections to almost 20 different cities across North America (according to the guys at Dublin Airport).

When it launches this service, Icelandair will become Dublin Airport’s 22nd new scheduled airline since 2010. The people at Dublin Airport are busy bees, we know!

So, if you are thinking of taking a break this June, why not give the island of Iceland a go! And with their nation also in this year’s FIFA World Cup, the place will be only hoppin’ – see what we did there?

And remember, the Airport Hopper can get you there – As we currently run two serveries from Tallaght and Maynooth, which operate daily!

Due to the impact of Covid-19 on our business and our industry, our Airport Hopper services will continue to be temporarily suspended until 2022. After a full review, we regret that we have made this decision as it will not be financially viable to deliver a service in the current climate. While it is great to see restrictions lifting and capacity on transport returning to 100%, we currently lack the supports and grants to restart our services. We will be back running our services in the New Year and we thank you for your understanding at this time and really appreciate the support and messages from all our regular customers.
