How to pack like a Pro

Our Top 5 Tips to allow you to Pack like a Pro
Airlines have reduced your Baggage Allowance so now’s the time to master your packing skills!  Typically the newer suitcases are made out of lightweight materials with lots of handy zips and buckets.  There's no need to throw out your older suitcases yet - check out our list of handy space-saving tips that will have you packing like a Pro!

  • Consider multi-purpose compression bags, not only will they save you valuable space but you can also use them to hold dirty clothes on the way back. One ingenious member of the Airport Hopper Team also uses them to wash clothes while abroad! Simply add water and soap to the bag, pop in some clothes and massage your clothes clean!
  • Roll your clothes! This is the best way to save space and to prevent your clothes from having wrinkles. Your clothes can then be stacked in the case.
  • Choose travel sized products for your toiletries. This will keep your case light and also leave more room for other items (Duty-Free!). If you run out you can always pop into a local supermarket and top up.
  • Colour scheme your clothes, bring neutral colours to mix and match pieces so each item of clothing can be worn with more than one outfit. Cold evenings after a day at the beach? Bring layering clothes that can be altered depending on the weather.
  •  Check if your hotel room includes hair dryers and irons! There's no need to bring your kitchen sink with you if your Hotel or Air BnB offers all of your home amenities. Otherwise, pack travel sized electronics, saving weight and space in your luggage. Just don’t forget the travel adaptor!
  • ps-Save paper and money where possible!  Book online and save 20% off your Airport Hopper Ticket. There's no need to print your ticket, simply book online and show your Driver your online ticket.

In order to ensure that there is space for everyone’s luggage on the Airport hopper, we ask that you bring only a suitcase and a small piece of hand luggage, send us an email to info@airporthopper.ie if you have excess luggage and we will do our best to facilitate you!

Where ever you are holidaying this year we hope it’s one to remember.

Dublin Airport Welcomes New Icelandair Service to Reykjavik

Attention holiday goers' and all who have that so-called travel-bug.

Did you hear that Dublin Airport has announced that Icelandair will operate a new direct Dublin - Reykjavik service six times a week, starting this June!

Not only are we delighted to hear about the new service, we too believe it is excellent news for the tourism industry as a whole, allowing people to take advantage of onward connections to almost 20 different cities across North America (according to the guys at Dublin Airport).

When it launches this service, Icelandair will become Dublin Airport's 22nd new scheduled airline since 2010. The people at Dublin Airport are busy bees, we know!

So, if you are thinking of taking a break this June, why not give the island of Iceland a go! And with their nation also in this year’s FIFA World Cup, the place will be only hoppin’ – see what we did there?

And remember, the Airport Hopper can get you there - As we currently run two serveries from Tallaght and Maynooth, which operate daily!

    Holiday Essentials

    Airport Hopper Holiday Essentials

Escaping the Irish weather? We’ve come up with the ultimate list of holiday essentials to get you off to a flying start.

Take the hassle out of getting to the airport and book your Airport Hopper tickets online and receive a 20% discount.

    TURN OFF THE EMERSION !!!!

Bring your passport, an obvious one really, but how many of us have ran out the door only to realise we left the passport sitting on the hall table in plain sight.

Money, those cocktails won’t pay for themselves ;)

An adapter for all your electrical appliances. Check the country you are travelling to prior to the holiday.

Ensure all toiletries are under 100ml, and in a clear plastic bag. There is nothing worse than getting out of the airport queue to but your toiletries into the bag, or worse, saying goodbye to your expensive shampoo as security take it off you.

Leave enough time to shop in duty free, after all YOU’RE ON YOUR HOLIDAYS!!

A portable charger, nothing worse than your phone dying before you’ve checked in with your glass of wine to make everyone jealous!

Magazine/books/kindle - reading is great for passing the time when sitting around the airport, on the plane, by the pool just about anywhere really.

Sit back and enjoy the trip! ( that’s if you actually remembered to do number 2)

The Airport Hopper team wish you all a wonderful trip and hope to be at your service throughout the year!

Let us know what your holiday essentials are to make the most of your get away.

Airport Hopper is the Coach Operator of the Year on Airport Services!

    Fares for Airport Hopper

On the 16th of November, the Fleet Bus & Coach Awards 2018 awarded Airport Hopper the Coach Operator of the Year on the Airport Services category, beating 4 other nominees.

As explained by Jarlath Sweeney, Managing Editor of Fleet Bus & Coach magazine on behalf of event organisers, the adjudication process was undertaken by a panel of expert stakeholders within the passenger transport industry, selecting a list of finalists to go forward for interview and, then, choosing the winners in each category.

This is a well-deserved prize for the efforts the company has been constantly applying in delighting our passengers with a premium service, always focusing in excellent customer care, safety, comfort, reliability, punctuality and affordability over its more than 5 years of existence serving the local communities like Maynooth, Tallaght, Clondalkin, Lucan, Leixlip, Liffey Valley and much more.

Dualway’s COO, Trish McConn, says “We are delighted to win the best industry award in Ireland. There are no words to describe how grateful we are for all the support and confidence we have received from our Airport Hopper passengers”.

Airport Hopper by Dualway group thanks each of the more than 350,000 passengers for trusting and relying on their services. This prize is also of yours!
